Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan, wants all infrastructure projects in the capital in the future should have an Environmental Impact and Traffic Analysis (Amdal Lalin) prior to commencement of work.

"We are committed, all future infrastructure projects must have Amdal Lalin prior to execution of work," he expressed, at Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday (11/1).
Before Being Set, Anies Communicated Appropriateness Amount of UMPAccording to him, a good governance system must be implemented in Jakarta thus the ongoing development will not harm the people.
"In accordance with the Amdal Lalin rules, the first is building permit (IMB) and then continued to the project. All must follow this procedure," he asserted.
He mentions, in the capital, there are a number of infrastructure projects have no Amdal Lalin. It caused in quite severe traffic jam around the project site.
"We'll evaluate and check all. The governance must be implemented, as this is part of accountability," he closed.
